TRUST AND EMPOWERING ABILITY PROJECT

Empowerment through Skill Development: Many individuals with disabilities
especially girls whose dropped out schools due to living difficulties face challenges in
accessing traditional employment opportunities due to societal stigma, lack of
accessibility, or discriminatory practices. By teaching them skills in crafting handcrafted
sandals and working with yarn materials, the project aims to empower them with
practical vocational skills that they can utilize to generate income and become financially
independent.

Promoting Inclusivity: The project advocates for inclusivity by creating a supportive
and accessible learning environment where individuals with disabilities especially girls
whose dropped out schools due to living difficulties can thrive. It aims to break down
barriers and misconceptions surrounding disabilities by highlighting the capabilities and
talents of participants.

Social Impact and Community Integration: Beyond economic benefits, the project also
seeks to create positive social impact and foster community integration. By engaging
with the wider community through their craft, participants can contribute to local
economies and challenge societal perceptions about disability. This can lead to greater
acceptance and inclusion of people with disabilities especially girls whose dropped out
schools due to living difficulties within society.

Tailored Support and Accessibility: The project recognizes the diverse needs and
abilities of individuals with disabilities and provides tailored support to accommodate
them. This may include adaptive equipment, assistive technologies, or specialized
training techniques to ensure that all participants can fully engage in the learning process.

Our training will tackle the performance by considering different elements we shall measure our
success through considering the following:
Participant Satisfaction: Feedback from participants on the quality of the training, materials
provided, and overall experience.
